Sora at Spring Quarters is a 29 story residential mixed-use tower located on an historic site in Midtown Atlanta. Just to the north of the tower is a historic funeral home constructed by Philip Shutze, a famous Atlanta architect, in the 1920’s. Working with Cooper Carry, I lead the schematic and design phases to create a building that unites the historic site while bringing density, walkability, and elevated living to the growing midtown neighborhood. The building is constructed using prefabricated exterior wall panels and field constructed facades. It is designed to NGBS Gold Level standards for sustainability in residential design.
